Role Overview
Riggers and pipe fitters are vital in industrial and construction projects, particularly in petrochemical and large-scale infrastructure works. Primary Responsibilities
Riggers are responsible for lifting, moving, and securing heavy equipment and materials using specialized tools and lifting machinery. They follow safety procedures, coordinate with team members, and ensure that all lifting operations comply with approved standards. Pipe fitters assemble, install, and maintain piping systems in industrial facilities. They interpret drawings, measure and cut pipes accurately, and ensure proper alignment and connections. Both roles require strict adherence to safety regulations, teamwork, and attention to detail to prevent accidents and maintain operational efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications Required
Applicants must have relevant experience and certifications. Rigger positions require Sabiq approval, with Rigger 2 and Rigger 3 certifications as applicable. Pipe fitters should have experience in industrial piping installation and maintenance. Required documents include original TUV certificates, valid Iqama copy, CR copy, Muqeem with at least 3 months validity, passport and visa copies, valid insurance, medical fitness, Ajeer registration, and Chamber agreement. Attention to safety standards, strong technical skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for all applicants.
